How does 'Sell Your Watch' work?

You can make an enquiry with us online via our Virtual Boutique team or by completing the online form. You will then receive an initial offer following an assessment by one of our experts buying in team. Although we will make every effort to reply to you as soon as possible, during very busy periods it can take between 3 -5 working days.

Send your watch to us – If you are happy with the initial quote*, simply post your watch to us or you can choose to visit one of our showrooms, where one of our sales consultants will be happy to assist you further with the process. Please include or bring two forms of ID, preferably a current passport and driving licence.

We are unable to accept delivery by hand at our head office. Should you have any queries or concerns regarding this, please contact our client support team on 0800 085 8250.

Choose payment option – we offer payment to a UK registered bank account, gift card & part exchange* (showroom only and not available at our Airport locations) options.

My watch doesn't work, will you still buy it?

We will provide you with an initial offer however it will be subject to final physical inspection by one of our expert buyers at our Head Offices.

Is the initial quote provided online guaranteed?

All quotes are valid for only 7 days and are subject to final assessment with our team at head office. Assuming the details and condition of the watch match the originally provided information and images and the watch was sent to us within the stated timeframe, we will be able to honour the initial quote. Otherwise, a revised, final offer will be provided to you.

I received a quote online a few months ago, is it still valid?

No, all quotes are valid for 7 days only. please submit the description and information again either online or visit one of our showrooms.

Is there a fee for this service?

There is no fee to receive an initial quote either online or at any of our showrooms.

What constitutes a watch having 'papers'?

'Papers' indicates the original guarantee certification, filled out at the time of purchase which features the model number, serial number, date and retailer stamp/name and address.

How will I receive payment for my watch?

If you give us your details online you can choose one of the following payment options:

  • Payment direct to your bank account following assessment of your watch.
  • Gift-card sent direct to your email account.

If you visit one of our showrooms you can choose one of the following payment options:

  • Payment direct to your bank account following final assessment of your watch.
  • Gift card/Part exchange.

What if I wish to part exchange my watch?

The option to part-exchange your watch for another product is available to you if you visit one our showrooms to get a quote for your watch.

How long will I have to wait for payment?

Once our Pre-Owned department has received your watch, our aim is that you will receive payment within 5 working days. This includes an expert assessment of the watch and the final offer sent to you via email. The payment can only be made after you accept the final offer.

How do I send my watch to you and who is responsible for my watch whilst it is in transit to you?

Packaging and postage instructions and guidance are provided for you at the end of your online journey. Please note, we recommend obtaining sufficient postage insurance to cover the value of your watch prior to sending your package.

Do I have to accept the terms & conditions?

Yes, you must accept the T&Cs before we can offer any quote for your watch.

I bought my watch second-hand, what happens if it turns out to be stolen?

We are legally obliged to inform the police and retain the watch until given instructions by the authorities. We will inform you if this should be the case.

I live outside of the UK, can I use the Pre-Owned website?

No, you must live within the UK and have a UK bank account.
